Each element includes two hours with our Career and Employment Consultant and is costed at £250

Elements can stand alone or be part of a package

  • Where to look for work in the labour market: identifying formal and informal sources of job vacancies (national and local) including social media and speculative approaches, creating your own opportunities.

  • CV writing: how to write and tailor your CV for different vacancies, help with disclosure of illness or gaps in work history

  • Application forms (online and hard copy forms), writing a personal statement or letter of application (including disclosure)

  • Interview techniques: help with both face to face or online interviews

  • Requesting adjustments

Who should use this service?

  • Individuals who are considering change in their work situation

  • Insurance companies/case managers who want to support their clients to gain new occupations

  • Employers who know someone is no longer able to do their job and either wants to help them find alternatives within their organisation or to support their transition to another work opportunity elsewhere.

Amanda is our Career and Employment Consultant, who for over twenty years has supported people to identify their career goals and work towards them in a positive, solution-focused way. She has worked in a wide range of settings including the voluntary sector and statutory services.

She has a passion for supporting people with persistent symptoms find and sustain work that not only matches their knowledge skills and experience but is also good for their health.
